Ravensworth Baptist Church Parents’ Day Out (PDO) is a play-based preschool preparing children for Kindergarten for over 40 years. We provide a fun, creative learning environment for children ages 2 to 5 years old. We have:
- 3 Day Program (T, W, TH), 4 hour day for 2-year-old students, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
- 4 Day Program (M, T, W, TH) 4 hour day for 3-year-old and Pre-Kindergarten students, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
- Music & movement daily
- Yoga and science enrichment classes alternating each week
- 2 Teachers for each class with limited class sizes allowing for one-on-one time with students
- Ongoing special events including Field trips, Puppet shows, Visits from the Dentist, Fire Department, Fun Fair and much more!
Our program has an experienced staff averaging over 10 years of teaching experience. Our teachers are trained in early childhood education, Brain Gym, certified in CPR and First Aid, and take continuing education courses yearly.
If you are new to our school, please stop by for a tour to see our classes in progress during school hours. We strongly encourage bringing your child with you, The best times for tours are between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. We are located at 5100 Ravensworth Road Annandale, Virginia 22003 at the corner of Braddock Road, just inside the beltway. Please contact us to check on availability.
